Everything was very straightforward, I was asked to buy additional insurance by Avis for breakdown etc, so it would have been useful to understand this wasn't included in the quoted price - if it was stated it wasn't obvious. It would be useful for you or the rental companies to provide more information on how pick up and drop offs work at the specific airports. Finding the drop off place a San Francisco was not great, as the address stated and google maps puts them in slightly different places - and the attendant joked that finding the garage wasn't easy.

Excellent - the website had been sluggish and repeated attempts to make the same booking resulted in 3 bookings. But the team quickly confirmed they had cancelled two, and the actual booking all worked fine once we got to Orlando.

Smithers Airport is located three miles north of the town of Smithers, British Columbia. It is a small airport which has two airlines operating in it Air Canada and Central Mountain Air. The majority of flights here go to Vancouver, although there is a daily flight to nearby Terrace.
