They should have advised me that once I had collected the car it would not be possible to extend the rental except in person at their Bordeaux airport office which would have entailed a 2.5 hour round trip

I requested a manual estate car, only an Auto was available. However the silver lining was it was an upgrade to the car requested, included Sat Nav that I hadn’t purchased and was a joy to drive (VW Passat)

Although terminal 1 was indicated on the booking. The rental was booked out of terminal 2. After waiting for 90 mins at terminal 1 we had to then go to terminal 2 to collect the car
