Although terminal 1 was indicated on the booking. The rental was booked out of terminal 2. After waiting for 90 mins at terminal 1 we had to then go to terminal 2 to collect the car

Arcachon is a bustling resort city in Gironde, Aquitaine, France. The town is located about 55 kilometers from Bordeaux, and is conveniently served by the rail system. Arcachon is a popular tourist destination, especially for Bordeaux inhabitants, offering great opportunities for holiday trips. The city is divided into two main towns, namely the summer and the winter town, both reachable by a cheap car hire at Arcachon.

With car hire at Arcachon, visitors could easily reach the popular summer town or Ville d'ete, the part of the city where most of the interesting attractions are. This part of the town holds place the greatest vantage points for exploring the waterfront, with its numerous beaches. Seafood restaurants are also a popular treat in the city.

A car rental at Arcachon would also take visitors to the winter town or the Ville d'hiver, the inland part of the city which boasts of magnificent houses and constructions which are ornate and very stately.
