Bonifacio is a popular travel destination for sun lovers because of its beautiful beaches. This town on the southern part of the island of Corsica has been receiving hundreds of tourists every year because of its fine natural scenery as well. The town centre is compact enough for walking but it's more practical to arrange for car hire in Bonifacio to get to the harbour, the beaches and the other areas outside town.

Those visiting Bonifacio can expect to spend most of their time there lounging by the beach or indulging in the many water sports attractions the coast has to offer. But for those looking to explore the rest of the area, they will find the town an interesting place for excursions. It features an Old Town, a beautiful harbour and an interesting historic citadel. Also accessible with a cheap car hire in Bonifacio are the town's two Genoese towers: Torra di Sponsaglia and Torra di Sant' Amanza.

From there, visitors can also head out to other areas in Corsica such as Porto Vecchio up north.
