Although terminal 1 was indicated on the booking. The rental was booked out of terminal 2. After waiting for 90 mins at terminal 1 we had to then go to terminal 2 to collect the car

Location information for Coignières

Coignieres is a French commune in Yvelines, France. The town is located 18 kilometers from Versailles, close to the towns of Maurepas, Mesnil Saint Denis, Essarts Le Roi, Levis Saint Nom and Saint Remy l'Honore. The town is a great base for travel around the Yvelines department in Ile de France, being near its center. The town boasts of several tourist sites and monuments that are all worth visiting. The town can best be toured with cheap car hire at Coignieres.

With car hire at Coignieres, visitors could easily reach some of the town's most prominent landmarks, including the Eglise Saint Germain d'Auxerre, a milestone church in Romanesque style. The church dates back from the 13th century, with a magnificent window added in the construction during the 15th century.

Also of note is the monument to the dead that is the cemetery, located just near the Saint Germain of Auxerre church. The site is a monument to the bravery of the soldiers who fought until the death. The cemetery is home to the seven graves of the Commonwealth soldiers.

The town is also located along the footpath GR11, a scenic long distance path which visitors could take on, for a natural escape. The footpath offers great natural experiences and adventures amid the bare environment.
