Although terminal 1 was indicated

Although terminal 1 was indicated on the booking. The rental was booked out of terminal 2. After waiting for 90 mins at terminal 1 we had to then go to terminal 2 to collect the car

Location information for Dijon

Dijon is a popular travel destination in the French region of Burgundy. The city was named after a type of mustard which it produces locally. It is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the country. Originally, the city was the capital of the Dukes of Burgundy when the region was still in power during the 14th century. And because the dukes were patrons of the arts, the city has grown to become a centre of Renaissance and Gothic art and sculpture.

Many of the attractions in Dijon are located in the city centre. This area is best explored on foot although many travellers still opt to arrange for car rental in Dijon so they can head out to the surrounding countryside later on. Notable landmarks in the city include the Ducal Palace, the Well of Moses and the Musée des Beaux-Arts.

Outside the city centre, travellers can take their car hire in Dijon to the town of Beaune. The town features a number of wineries and beautiful regional architecture. The Hotel Dieu is a crowd favourite as it features Burgundian architecture in its Polyptych of the Apocalypse.

 What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.

In general, our rates are all-inclusive. Should there be any additional costs, our booking department will get in touch with you before issuing the invoice. Should you object, you can always cancel your reservation with no obligations attached (at least 48 hours in advance).

In general, Liability Insurance, Fire Insurance, All-Risks Insurance and Theft Insurance are included in the cost of your rental car.
