Although terminal 1 was indicated on the booking. The rental was booked out of terminal 2. After waiting for 90 mins at terminal 1 we had to then go to terminal 2 to collect the car

Frejus lies on the Côte d'Azur between Cannes and Saint-Tropez in southern France and is a popular tourist town for its Roman remains and for its beaches. You can get here by flying to Marseille or Nice and then picking up cheap car hire at Frejus.

The town was founded in 49BC by none other than Julius Caesar and it thus boasts some remarkable Roman structures. The biggest tourist sights to check out in Frejus can be found in the Forum Julii. There is a huge amphitheatre here, which goes right back to Gallic times in the 1st or 2nd centuries, along with the Oree Gate arcades.

With car rental in Frejus, you can also see the stunning Church of St Maximinus, which was started in the 13th century, while Frejus Cathedral is a remarkable stone structure amid a pretty square. Other noted Frejus sights include the Chapel Cocteau and the beaches.

The beaches of Frejus are just south of town with car rental in Frejus and are inherently pretty and strewn with impressive palm trees. The beaches are much less touristy than those of nearby Saint-Tropez, and especially Cannes and Nice, plus you can get cheaper accommodation.

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
