Although terminal 1 was indicated on the booking. The rental was booked out of terminal 2. After waiting for 90 mins at terminal 1 we had to then go to terminal 2 to collect the car

La Grande Motte is a seaside resort by the Mediterranean coast in the southern part of France. It sits between Montpellier and Marseille. The resort is located in the Herault department. Part of the Languedoc region, La Grande Motte is one of the main resorts in the area. It is a popular summer seaside destination. The place was built in the late 1960s for the sole purpose of creating a great seaside resort. There are distinctive buildings throughout La Grande Motte that are all pyramidal.

Jean Balladur is the architect who was inspired by the pyramids of Mexico. The most impressive building is the 16-floor Grande Pyramide. It was constructed in 1974. The busy parts of La Grande Motte are around the marina. The resort gets especially busy in the summer time but is a great destination through out the year as well.
