Although terminal 1 was indicated on the booking. The rental was booked out of terminal 2. After waiting for 90 mins at terminal 1 we had to then go to terminal 2 to collect the car

Location information for Langon

The historic village of Langon is located in northwestern France and has been settled since the Mesolithic era. This village filled with ancient ruins is just 60kms from Rennes and 70kms outside of Nantes by car rental at Langon.

The best way to tour this historic area which is a fair distance from major cities and public transportation is car hire at Langon, and the easiest places to find cheap car hire at Langon are the cities of Nantes and Rennes.

Some of the best preserved countryside in the whole of Brittany is in the Langon area, and driving to the region's many ruins and historic sites is a truly unforgettable experience. Over 35 Mesolithic megaliths were discovered in the area just by the finish of the 19th century, and at least one stretch of paved road in Langon dates back to the Roman era.

Also originally built during the Roman empire is the Chapelle Sainte-Agathe. The building first served as a spa, and was converted to a church during the Middle Ages. The Roman paintings inside the chapel are especially worth a closer glance, as is the Demoiselles de Langon structure of 20 stones located just outside of Langon.

The comparatively young Corbinieres viaduct which stands over 30m high and connects Langon to Messac was first completed in 1861 and a large bat colony lives within its pillars. Langon's beautiful countryside is also ideal for horseback riding, and the best place to both learn riding and rent horses is the horse farm of Servanne Lefebvre.
