Although terminal 1 was indicated on the booking. The rental was booked out of terminal 2. After waiting for 90 mins at terminal 1 we had to then go to terminal 2 to collect the car

Location information for Montlucon

In the centre of France is the large town of Montlucon, located around 110 miles northwest of Lyon. Its history dates back to medieval times when it is thought the town was first emerging trade place. Today it is home to some industry leaders like Dunlop, the tyre manufacturer, and Sagem, who make electronics.

The major features of the town are the amount of churches encased in the area, like the Church of Notre Dame and St Paul's Church. You can also visit a few castles in the region, including the Le Chateau des ducs de Bourbon that overlooks the town and is today used as a barracks.

The first mention of the town began in the 11th century when the English occupied it before being kicked out in the 1300s. Many of the old buildings and ruins are still located around the town and are fascinating to view. Car hire in Montlucon is a great way to set out and discover these places.
