Although terminal 1 was indicated on the booking. The rental was booked out of terminal 2. After waiting for 90 mins at terminal 1 we had to then go to terminal 2 to collect the car

The French commune of Moutiers, originally known as Tarentaise, lies in the Savoie department in the southeast of France in a region known as Rhone-Alpes. Moutiers is ideally situated for access to the Alps and all that they have to offer. It is especially well-located for Les Trois Valees ski region.

In terms of transport, even though it is not itself on a high-speed rail link, Moutiers is a key point for TGV trains arriving from Paris and Lyon as well as other cities. With its location so idyllically within the Tarentaise valley, the surrounding area is famed for its natural beauty. In addition to the surrounding valleys, Moutiers also benefits from having the River Isere flowing directly through it making for a particularly charming setting.

There are three major ski resorts within easy driving distance with car rental in Moutiers. This makes Moutiers a great location if you want to enjoy skiing and the slopes but want to stay a little farther outside.
