Although terminal 1 was indicated

Although terminal 1 was indicated on the booking. The rental was booked out of terminal 2. After waiting for 90 mins at terminal 1 we had to then go to terminal 2 to collect the car

Paimpol is an incredibly popular coastal city which both residents and tourists enjoy as a vacation spot during the warm summer months. Located in the Côtes-d'Armor department in the top corner of western France, the picturesque ports and beaches attract thousands of tourists a year.

Car hire at Paimpol is a great way to ensure adequate transportation in this small beach community. Tourists will enjoy a myriad of events which occur weekly including a Tuesday morning street market which takes place right on the port. Night markets also occur regularly around the port.

Off the coast visitors can take a ferry from the Paimpol port to a rocky archipelago which boasts two large islands which the locals have connected via bridge. There are also a variety of smaller islands in the archipelago also worth exploring. Car rental at Paimpol is a great way to tour up and down the eastern coastline.

The portside restaurants offer some of the best seafood in France and the locals take immense pride in the maritime heritage. Enjoy great food and nightlife by the port in the evenings and sunny shopping and sunbathing on the beaches during the day.

Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. If your driver's license is foreign (for example, in Chinese), you must bring a translation with you. Only your original passport and driver's license will be accepted - a copy is not sufficient.
