Although terminal 1 was indicated on the booking. The rental was booked out of terminal 2. After waiting for 90 mins at terminal 1 we had to then go to terminal 2 to collect the car

Located in the Normandy region's Manche department, the town of St Lo suffered immensely during the Battle of Normandy in WWII. Severe bombing rates almost wiped the entire town from the map, which gave this destination the nickname ‘Capital of Ruins'.

Fortunately St Lo was reconstructed and today the town, which is the Manche department's capital, has a population of 20,000 and is one of the country's culinary centres. Well-known among gastronomists for its mouth-watering and award-winning chopped liver that shouldn't be missed sampling.
