Parchim Airport is set in the middle of a large industrial estate in northeastern Germany, exactly in the centre of Europe and equidistant from Berlin and Hamburg. The facility was once an Air Force base. Since 2009, it has operated scheduled cargo flights to destinations across Europe via Air Cargo Germany as well as general aviation flights.
