Everything was very straightforward, I was asked to buy additional insurance by Avis for breakdown etc, so it would have been useful to understand this wasn't included in the quoted price - if it was stated it wasn't obvious. It would be useful for you or the rental companies to provide more information on how pick up and drop offs work at the specific airports. Finding the drop off place a San Francisco was not great, as the address stated and google maps puts them in slightly different places - and the attendant joked that finding the garage wasn't easy.

Located two kilometres north of the city centre, Hyannis Airport, or Barnstable Municipal Airport – Boardman/Polando Field, is the main airport on Cape Cod. Cape Air uses the facility for flights to Boston, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, while services to Nantucket are also provided by Nantucket Airlines and Island Airlines.

The airport has one passenger terminal building and two runways. There is a small cafe, a shop and an ATM. Long- and short-stay parking are available outside the building. It is possible to arrange car hire in Hyannis Airport for easy onward travel through a number of well-known agencies.
