Located 20kms north of the Downtown Jacksonville, Jacksonville International Airport is a joint civil-military public airport. Many of the US's main airlines use the facility, while flights are handled from destinations all over the country, particularly east coast cities. The airport has one terminal building with two concourses A and C. Concourse B was demolished in 2009 and there are no current plans to replace it. The airport is laid out on two floors, with Arrivals on Level 1 and Departures on Level 2.
