Although terminal 1 was indicated on the booking. The rental was booked out of terminal 2. After waiting for 90 mins at terminal 1 we had to then go to terminal 2 to collect the car

Location information for Montelimar

In the south of France around 90 miles south of Lyon and the same north of Marseille is the old town of Montelimar. It has been around for many hundreds of years and was home to a former President of France, Emile Loubet, who reined from at the turn of the 19th century.

Cheap car hire at Montelimar is a great location for a tour of this area of France. It was once a very popular stopover for visitors to the south of France who would buy the nougat that had come to be known all over Europe. Since the construction of the N7 road that bypasses the city many shops and factories have closed down.

You can travel up to the Adhemar Castle in a car rental at Montelimar and visit this 12th century palace built for the Romans. There are also a number of other castles in the area that are well worth a visit. Visit one of the Protestant churches in the medieval town or tour round the museums that tells of their survival.

The town of Montelimar is bustling with plenty of dining options to suit all tastes and budgets. Down in the Old Town you can find some very chic little cafés offering local delights.
