Although terminal 1 was indicated on the booking. The rental was booked out of terminal 2. After waiting for 90 mins at terminal 1 we had to then go to terminal 2 to collect the car

An important train stop on the way to the south of France via Lyon goes through the Drome region and into the town Montelimar. The station takes in the normal SNCF routes and also welcomes the high-speed TGV trains. Cheap car hire at Montelimar Rail Station is an ideal way to travel around the town.

Car hire at Montelimar Rail Station is sited in the centre out of town just above a small river that leads from the Rhone River. To the south of here and only a few minutes away is the Geant shopping mall where you can find plenty of high street brands.

The town itself has been very popular with travellers that were heading to or from the south coast. They would stop here to get the famous Montelimar nougat, but construction of a new road has led to a downturn in business for these stores and travellers go around the town.

In a car rental at Montelimar Rail Station you can head around many of the famous sites in the area. There are a number of castles and chateaus to visit, some with impressive pasts dating back to Roman times. There are also two Protestant churches and a museum that tells of how they survived the Roman era.

The town is situated in the Alps region and during the wintertime you can partake in sports like skiing and snowboarding. The summer months offer more extreme sports like rock climbing and hang gliding or you can simply take a trek into the lush green hills and mountains.
